Chilled ...

An extra to yesterday's blog post ...  as sat outside in the evening
Such a clear blue sky even at 7:45 pm
... when this paraglider
glided into view
I'm sure he's looking at us!
and then off he goes.

Saturday (23rd) was a quiet day, for me anyway!
George took this photo of a dragonfly, we've seen lots of them over the last few days.  I've tried to take a picture of them flying without any success.  With their wings spread in flight the colour is so intense ... a very deep velvety blue ... absolutely amazing!
George has spent most of the day painting the engine bay until he ran out of paint!

When the day became cooler we sat out on the grass with the bbq and just enjoyed the moment
We don't see many Buzzards here along the Thames they are far outnumbered by the Red Kites.
We sat and watched this one land in the trees high above the river opposite us
He was right there!

The day ended for us just after 10 with this wonderful sunset.
