I'm currently using a Panasonic Lumix DCM-TZ70, I've used them for the past 10 years and find them very good for pictures although I've ended up replacing them every 3 years or so because the on/off button eventually worked only intermittently. Nothing worse than trying to take a 'quick' photo of an interesting event when the camera suddenly switches itself off! I've had this one for about 2 years now and so far it's behaving itself, fingers crossed that it'll stay that way.
Ah, I use a Panasonic compact too! Mine's an earlier model, the TZ5...I've been looking at the later ones too. Brilliant little cameras and your photos prove it although it is the photographer who makes the beautiful images of course, not the camera! You make a great team!
I do enjoy seeing all your nice photos, and I really liked to see the one of the ever so cute Jamboat Butty.
