An epic journey ...

 ... of just ¾ of a mile!
10 to 8 this morning (Thursday) I'm on lock duty at Goring, the gates are open and George brings Still Rockin' in
Part of Goring lock keeper's job is to control the river's weirs both here at Goring and also at Streatley
Wonder what the building is far up the hill above Streatley
After reboarding once the top gates have been closed we continue the short distance to Cleeve Lock
Once above the lock we filled the water tank and found our mooring
... in sight of the lock
... and with good open views
... all around
... although we have had to deploy the gangplank!
