Rain, a festival, a temple, a buggy, a little ship and a mooring

Leaving Henley on Thames
Always a good view
... heading downstream
10 minutes later looking back!  Will that rain catch us up?

Rewind Festival 2017 with an impressive line-up will take place here 18th-20th August
I've often wondered what this building is all about, I thought perhaps it was a conference centre but looking closely I see Bugaboo - pushchairs and luggage - expensive or what! This must be their British HQ.

Passing Temple Island

I though this was a steam boat moored just past Temple Island but it's not.
It's another of the Dunkirk Little Ships. Click on the link  to read Llanthony's story of its trips across the English Channel to rescue our troops from Dunkirk's beaches. Reading the association website I saw a familiar name - Raymond Baxter - OBE (1929-2006); a man of many talents and one of the founders of ADLS.
We've travelled just a mile and now moored above Hambleden Lock
Henley that a way!
Walked in the rain to Hambleden Marina where we spent a lovely evening catching up with Karin and Peter.
