Market day in Kingston

There have been markets in Kingston for over 800 years and Saturday was no exception.  There was food being cooked from far and wide.  Mexican, Moroccan, Japanese, Brazilian, Vietnamese; there were pretzels, crepes, hot-dogs with bratwurst, pizza and more and there was the fruit and veg, jams and honey, trinkets and uncle tom cobley and all!
The 19th century facade of the Jack Wills building on Market Square features scenes and symbols of Kingston’s history.

A good mooring for exploring the area.
