The cupboards are full ...

We desperately needed a food shop and after getting the ok from Richie (Abingdon lock keeper) I'd arranged a Tesco delivery for early Monday morning (6th August) so it was an early start ...
I watched the mist roll in over the river at 05:45 but it soon burned off
It was already hot by 8:45 when our order arrived at the door ...
was unloaded ...
and the van reversed back down the path and away.  Thank you Tesco!
10 am and all the frozen/fridge stuff had been put away, the ropes untied and we're away ...
Leaving Abingdon Lock and saying a final 'cheerio' (for this year anyway) to Richard and wishing him a wonderful day on September 1st when he and partner Liz tie the knot and become a married couple.

We continued through the bridge and as we passed the Chandlery I called out to ask when they would get a gas bottle delivery and was told tomorrow (Tuesday) so then we had to decide where to go in the meantime.

Passing wide beam Tobermory watering his pots we cruised on a little further and found a mooring that would do us for the night.
