Life on the land ... Christmas ...

To all my readers everywhere ... family ... friends ...
boaters and non-boaters

From our home to yours, wherever you are ...
George and I wish to you all ...
A Very Merry Christmas
and a healthy,  New Year.

Christmas 2020 is going to be very different for many people and our hearts go out to those spending the holiday on their own and those who are not able to be with their family at this time and especially those with no home to be in.

Stay safe, observe the rules and let's make 2021 a better time to be living wherever you are.

We are sorry not to have had the chance after all to say hello when we came to the Thames - plans changed in 2019, never mind 2020. We really enjoyed your blogs - always interesting and full of useful information, one of the biggest highlights for us was the otter. We used to keep our boat at Overwater and loved coming to Audlem - everyone in the village was so friendly and we often thought it would be a lovely place to live so we wish you every happiness in your new life on land. What fabulous views and of course you’re only a stone’s throw from Bridgemere, a place we’ve spent many a happy hour! Carol, NB Simply Messing.

Thanks for your comments Carol Q. Do you no longer have a boat? We're nearly settled into our new home and are enjoying being near Audlem and its surrounding canals, villages and Bridgmere. Happy New Year to you and yours.
