Leaving our wonderful moorings at Clivedon 9:30 yesterday morning
… we continue to head in a westerly direction upstream on the River Thames under that fantastic view of Clivedon House
Just the one lock today at Cookham, that Sue and Vic on No Problem XL in front of us
An apt name for a narrow boat
The river became much busier as we neared Bourne End
Waiting for this hire boat to pass and then we’ll pull over to breast up to No Problem outside the Bounty Pub
Our view from the deck when we were safely moored up.
Sue and I walked into the town after lunch and called into the charity shop to speak to Sheena from nb Dogma which is moored opposite the pub. Sue has arranged for us all to meet up in the Bounty for a meal this evening.
We had a lovely couple of hours catching up with Sheena and Ken, it was good to see them again. One of the bar staff took a picture on the six of us with Sue’s camera so I’ll ask her for a copy for tomorrow’s blog.

I used to live in Bourne End and love the Bounty. A lot of good dog walking too!
Thanks for the comments Snowy Owl, we’re only just learning about all the dog walks in Bourne end!
