Friday (29th May) ... our Tesco order is due ... George has walked to the marina about a mile away to be there in time for the delivery. Peter from the marina had offered to bring our goodies to us via his houseboat so that we could move to Medmenham meadow last week to ensure that we got a suitable mooring ...
Here they come ... sitting the appropriate distance apart with the Tesco shopping on the deck ...
George stands up to go to the back of the boat to collect the mooring rope ... and as Peter starts to bring Gypsy Willow over the channel ... suddenly ...
it becomes busy!
Peter continues the turn ...
and along comes another boat!
Eventually Peter brings his boat alongside, the shopping is unloaded and after a cuppa ( goes without saying re distancing) and a catch up they return to the marina. Thank you so much Peter and Karin for your help today.
