9 o'clock Tuesday (17th) George is getting Still Rockin' ready to reverse from the pontoon mooring at Boulters Restaurant and I'm on my way over the bridge to set the lock for him.
Here he comes.
We're soon cruising through Cliveden Reach ...
and Cookham Lock on self service where I met the chap on this houseboat Bauhaus an all electric vessel which I think may have been used in the past as a static home. He was on his way to his winter mooring in Brentford
Waiting to be picked up after leaving the lock.
Approaching Bourne End mooring but not for us today and we continue ...
to the visitor moorings below Marlow Lock where we've appointments to keep ...
It's been another lovely, very warm day ...
and the river has been quiet
Wednesday morning was more of the same lovely late summer weather, cool at night and fabulous days.

It's very wet here now, but we too have had some lovely September days. I love the photo with the mist on the river. You travel this route so much, but always make it look different and new. Thanks as always for the beautiful images!
The river Thames has risen about 6 inches Val with the amount of rain we've had in the last few days. Although we do travel the same routes it always looks new to us, we just can't get enough of it!
