Back to Oz ... Our last day in Melbourne ...

We spent our penultimate evening in Melbourne still at Ray and Diane's lovely home chatting with their daughter Samantha and their bonkers dog Archie.  In-between time I caught up on the laundry ready for our departure on Monday 4th March 2019.
The day before we left Ray's he took us out ... for breakfast ... a first for us!  We walked to Sir Dukes in Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds named for Stevie Wonder's 1976 hit HERE.  I really can't remember what we ate but it was nothing like any breakfast that we'd had before!  What a treat ... thank you Ray.
Back at Ray and Diane's home ... appropriately named ...
I spent most of the day packing our suitcases for our flight to Sydney on the morrow and generally relaxing.
Sam arrived home from work and of course Archie was pleased to see her ...

He really is a cuddly, loveable rogue and we shall miss him!
While Ray prepares a culinary delight for our evening meal ...
I'm outside doing my best to tire out the crazy dog ...
and I think it may have worked ... for all of five minutes!

With the packing done and dusted, diner eaten, we all relaxed in front of the telly and watched the movie 'Queen'.

We thank Ray and Diane (in her absence) with all our heart for making us so welcome in their home, and particularly Ray for looking after us so well and ensuring that we saw and enjoyed our excursions to the  wildlife park and the little penguins and all around their local area.  We had a truly wonderful time and will remember their hospitality forever.
