Saying goodbye

Over the last few days we had a visitor ...

Jaq (nb Valerie) came to stay.
We had time out for water 'fixes' ... above in Marlow

and also in Henley.
On Tuesday Sue and Ken came to collect her taking her home with them.

The visit was happy and sad. Happy to see her and have a good catch-up, share memories of Les and have a laugh, and sad that we may not see her again as she returns to the bosom of her family in America later this month.  We wish her peace and contentment and hope that she will find her place back home and be happy again.

Meanwhile back at Still Rockin'
the birds are flocking in, more of the larger variety than the usual bluetits etc.,
Even a crow has managed to work out how to eat from the fatballs!

Thank you both for a lovely visit. I just couldn't go without seeing you and George one more time. I promise to stay in touch.

Love Jaq xxx

I was a bit worried that you were the one saying goodbye, Carol. I’m relieved I was wrong, but sad for you that your friend is leaving.
