If you look closely you'll see that there's a step still underwater, that needs to be clear before the river regains its normal level.
I will miss this view when we do eventually leave here.

Really interesting blog with very good pics to illustrate it ,can't believe they are preparing already for the Regatta.Almost seems a waste of time when they dissemble all the paraphernalia only to have to assemble it all again..
