More Celebrations

Yesterday (15th Feb) was our 47th wedding anniversary
This is George and I Christmas 1970 we were both 21 and
our daughter Sharon (centre) was just 6 weeks old and
this is her daughter Louise becoming 21 the day before our anniversary!
View from the stern of Still Rockin’ last night - it looks as if it’s going to be a bit chilly!
We spent a very pleasant evening with Diane and Ray (nb Ferndale) in the Paddington Packet Boat pub and then on SR for a nightcap. (photo pinched from fb, thanks Diane)
Minus 4 this morning at 8 o’clock, it’s going to be a beautiful day.

  4. You have been having fun, Carol! Neither of you looks old enough to be 21 in that photo! I've never been to Glasgow, but I hear it is a very hospitable city!

  5. Happy anniversary, you two! Isn't it interesting how we look so young back then but we thought we were so mature and adult ... Bit like policemen and pilots who now look five to me! And I can see George in that photo - I just blocked out the hair ... Sorry, George darling ;-) M&D xox

  6. 47th wedding anniversary!! That is truly a huge milestone. Congratulations for your wedding anniversary!! I am a wedding planner and my aunt has asked me to arrange their wedding anniversary. I was so honoured and now I have to figure out what to do. I would like to suggest her to organize this event at the same wedding venues where both tied the knot 25 years ago. Isn’t that a cool idea?
