The view inside before the lift from Droitwich ...
we weren’t allowed to open or assemble any of the furniture (free standing) or boxes in case they slid if the vehicle had to make an emergency stop, so the lounge, kitchen and bathroom were packed end to end with not an inch of space in sight ...
a big job for us now!
At Braunston Still Rockin’ is swinging!
Nearly there ...
... and she’s in!
It was a traumatic day but it went perfectly, we’re now trying to get all those boxes unpacked and stored away. Slept on a mattress on the floor on Thursday night but we’re very excited about the start of our next adventure.
Watch this space for more pictures - most of you will know that the internet signal here is patchy and slow at best, but I shall persevere!
Congratulations on a successful launch/floating... :)

That will be fantastic!
DeleteSo pleased for you both to see the 'ship' in water. Sleeping on that floor must be better than the caravan. Have you decided which way to go?
ReplyDeleteIt’ll be south Chas - GU and the Thames for the summer months.
DeleteOh you both must be ecstatic!! We are thrilled for you and George right down to our toes. There is nothing like settling in to home--and you've been without one for awhile now, patiently working toward this very moment. We are in Apsley and slowly heading north. I hope we meet up. Dinner's on us.
