We can reach the outskirts of Oxford but then we come across bridges that can be too low if the water is a little high and during the summer the overhanging vegetation and the very bendy top reaches can be a bit hairy in a wide beam so we tend to turn round and make our way back. We've cruised the upper reaches in our previous boat Rock n Roll and we've done it by car too, and do love it, but ...! <br /><br />As you say we very nearly know every inch of the river now.
