From dawn 'till dusk ...

Dawn 6:40 Thursday (19th) at the visitor moorings below Marlow Lock ... we're moving on today ...

Autumn colours

10:20 and we're pulling away ...

a quick snap of Marlow Lock and church as we wind to retrace our steps again
Twenty-five minutes later we've reached our destination.  We fitted in very nicely at the end of Bourne End Wharf.  That's an RCR (River Canal Rescue) van there ... (the AA/RAC of the waterways) doing some work on that cruiser which left a short time later, presumably fixed.
Looking downstream towards Bourne End Marina ...
and upstream.
This is the first time we've moored in this position with the stern upstream where it's very shallow as you can see ... but the view is the best!
It's hot outside and we spent the afternoon in the shade on the deck watching the world go by ...

The lovely steam vessel Alaska going downstream empty ...
and coming back again two hours later with guests onboard.
A stunning dusk at 19:30

A relaxing day!
