Build days 48, 49 and 50

The hull is virtually finished except for a few bits and bobs and all the tidying up ...
 The ‘I’s’ have it!
Grills on the bow thruster tubes
The anchor storage point.  It’s from here the anchor will be dropped over the side - let’s hope we never need to deploy it in anger!
 A step up
The prop shaft forward of the schilling rudder ...
... and the ‘other’ end of the rudder shaft
The vent piping which will take the heat from the engine ...
... and George checking his baby!
Still to do ...  the steering equipment should arrive early next week and the water tank has still to arrive - must check on that.
After that Still Rockin’ will be ready for painting!

Hi there Carol and George, not forgetting Molly, and Happy New Year.
WOW! Upping the game somewhat, the new boat looks magnificent, obviously a lot of thought and planning are going into it, bet that rudder cost more than a shilling.
We really enjoyed river cruising. even the Wash so I am sure that Carol will feel much more comfortable with a substantially bigger boat between you and the water.
Thank you for your comment on my little project and I will keep a check on how Still Rolling progresses. I assume that somebody else will eventually get to own the best boat we have ever been on 'Rock'n'Roll'
Cheers from Mac & Jacquie

Happy New Year to you too! Thanks for your comments on our new build Still Rockin, although the build until now has come along quickly it’s quiet just now while the last bits are done; April still seems a good way off at the moment. We were very lucky to sell Rock n Roll within 5 days of putting her up for sale to boaters we already knew and we know that they’ll look after her well.

Good luck with the car build we’re looking forward to seeing it on the road. Best wishes to you both.

Looks really good. But if you are going to be "proper" river boaters you have to spend a night or two on the anchor!!

That’ll make a good blog!
